As President, collaborated and coordinated with board members and faculty to organize club events and facilitate a safe and thriving social environment to engage in Japanese-American culture at Virginia Tech.
Using basic HTML and CSS, I created an Online Portfolio that contains basic information about myself, links to my socials, and a contact form for individuals to reach me.
Created a simple 2D Chess game, using the Simple and Fast Multimedia Library (SFML) and written in C++. Using their Graphics and Window Libraries I was able to display a simple chessboard, create objects that would represent the chess pieces, and place and move those pieces properly onto the board. A more in-depth explanation of the code will be available in a README I will create in the future within the GitHub repository; currently, the files should contain comments explaining each function.
Canvassed neighborhoods across the Northern Virginia area, providing residents with information on how to register to vote in the 2021 Virginia Gubernatorial Race and also collected data on which issues were important to residents.
